Relax & X'mas celebration

Ah.. we are finally back to the good old days in c.amp where life is slack once more, after shitting around for half a year continuously. It seemed like a good long aways back where life in b.unk involved waking in morning relatively late for breakfast, afterwhich the only remaining order is to wait for lunch, afterwhich the order is to wait for dinner. Life should be like that man, with 4.30 pm nights out timing. Yea, we played lan like crazy on Thursday since there was like 5 hours outside. We went to our usual haunt in Bukit Timah Shopping centre, the IRC lan there to play. Played dota, CS, standard warcraft and.. sheep vs. rabbits..and.. Murder at the late night mansion. Whatever, the games were most degenerative but we had lots of fun laughing over it. For example, there was one dota match where my team random-ed Invoker and techie. GG-fied. LOL. But we just played on, in the most heck-care attitude. My pro friend, who got the techie went like insane, going things like "Buddeh Zeh pwning you, you can't catch Buddeh zeh".. (Buddeh zeh being our little inside joke.).. despite his score like 1-4. The guy who got invoker was most n00b, having a score like 1-7. Whatever. For Counter-strike, we had immense fun on that swimming pool map. I not so n00b now on CS, able to match scores with the other more pro people, and the chances of instantly losing if all my team mates died except me is now much less. The most degen thing was when we decided to play all knife game. Suddenly you see people ganging up on one another with knives, trying to stab each other. People like me who can't play melee, went guns when we were desperate, cornered against the wall facing 2 guys. All in all, immense fun.

We had our little Christmas celebration in camp today, CO huddle. It was mostly a boring affair, sitting through 3 hours of speeches respective so-and-so. But the buffet dinner was good. When we were allowed to go outside to grab the food, our platoon went craaazzy. We each took one plate, and swiped food by category. Like one guy would grab a big plates on chicken nuggets, another would grab a big plate of salad, and so on. I was late, and was not in on this plan, so I was just trying to grab my own food. But when it was my turn, to my immense disappointment, all the food was gone. I went back to my table, to sit down, only to find a table of plenty. Truly a table of plenty just like the traditional Christmas dinner. My friends had gathered enough food to share with the whole platoon 10 people, and we sat down together and had good fun sharing food together.

Then later on, the lucky draw. Our platoon was lucky. Out a mass of people of 300+, and 13 prizes to be won, our platoon got 2 of them. And half way through the lucky draw, it was interrupted by cosplay(horrible!), and carolling, where I was arrowed to go on stage and join a few others from my company to belch out a horrible chrismas tune(Winter Wonderland).

Lastly, it was book out! Just glad to be now home, typing this out.
